Lieing:MANIfold was an installation and performance space that examined notions of propriety and potential intimacy. The central object of the piece was a futon mattress with a lair built around it out of torn stockings, architectural refuse, and books. I invited selected individuals into this space to lie down with me to do whatever they would like for whatever amount of time. I kept track of my interactions with these people in a diaristic fashion that was also part of the installation but did not document any of the actual lieings.
